How to Be a Joyous Change Maker
Working with Jamie was amazing. She was so thorough, committed to thinking through the best options for us—based on our unique work and commitment to community. She was incredibly effective all while allowing us to place our values at the center. Such a winning combination.

How to Be a Joyous Change Maker
Discover your unique gifts so you can change the world for the better in a way you LOVE.
A three month group coaching adventure starting January 2022.
How to Be a Joyous Change Leader is for people who know that contribution is not about perfectionism. It is about stepping into the connections, the passions, the authentic actions that bring great positive changes to your life and the world.
What if you can create a world you are excited to be part of, right now?
This is for you if:
You are ready to create positive change by contributing something uniquely yours to the world. See below for some examples.
You want support to create a whole-hearted life (fulfilling relationships, work, play) so that you can offer your gifts from a full heart.
You would like to learn to dance with overwhelm and doubt so you can stay aligned with what really matters and create magic.
You value support and would like Jamie and Nick’s ongoing coaching to create authentic and joyous changes in your life and the world.
You would love to participate in a group of outrageously supportive and heart-led visionaries. Whether you are taking your first steps in creating positive change or are seeking growth, you'll find peers and inspiration here.
Nick is a deeply intuitive listener and he embodies genuine safety and support. In and through his presence Nick has created a non-judgmental space that has allowed me feel calm in my body and come into contact with the truth of my authentic heart.

Examples of Joyous Change :-)
A gardener creating a network that donates flowers and food to important causes.
An HR professional ready to start their business supporting anti-racist businesses.
A cyclist who organizes charity bicycle races for the conservation of green spaces.
A scientist who creates a company-funded scholarship program for women in STEM.
A hiker who crowd-funds money for charity by completing a long journey.
A swimmer who creates beach work-parties to remove ocean plastic.
An artist who donates colorful, uplifting art to hospice bedrooms.
A writer who organizes a group of writers to write support letters to cancer patients.
What other possibilities do you see :)?
Nick has a huge heart and he exudes warmth, understanding, and compassion. He is deeply empathetic with a knack for asking amazing questions that allow me to bypass my overthinking brain and drop down into my heart space, connecting me back to my own inner knowing and intuition.
-Erin Kintzing, Yoga Teacher
Core Premises:
We each have causes that are close to our heart (Rescuing sea turtles, standing up to racism, protecting green spaces, etc). When we find a way to contribute that aligns with our passions, we produce results that are electrifying.
Each person has unique gifts, skills, networks, and passions that are needed to improve the world. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. We each have an “impact goldmine” we are sitting on.
Doubt and uncertainty are natural parts of growth. Learning skills to dance with doubt, uncertainty, and overwhelm is an essential part of creating change.
Connection is far more powerful than isolation. Networks, communities, and friendships make positive change sustainable and have more leverage than isolated individual actions.
Joy/pleasure activism is the most skillful approach to creating change. Despair helps no one.
Support makes transformation sustainable. Learning skills to rest and receive is the way to sustainably keep creating fulfilling change in the world.
Kind Words
Jamie helped me navigate through areas that I was having difficulty with in my work and everyday life. I was able to get to the base of problems and work out solutions due to her support and coaching.

How to Be A Joyous Change Maker Includes:
Twice monthly group coaching sessions (scroll down for dates!) to help you discover the intersections of your joy, skills/network, and passions within a ridiculously supportive community, so you can start taking authentic action.
Sessions are held on Zoom.
Sessions are always recorded and available in the group, so if you can't attend, you can catch up on any call.
Three 1-on-1 coaching sessions with Nick or Jamie that offer you individualized support. These 1hr sessions offer a deep dive to ensure you feel well-resourced for authentic action.
Private WhatsApp Group for real-time accountability, questions, celebration, and support. Jamie and Nick are frequently there to answer questions and facilitate supportive discussion.
Small accountability/support teams based on topics. These are optional and depend on your priorities. Working on addressing land conservation and biodiversity? Getting a town to divest from oil? Supporting scholarships for women in STEM? The right team partnership for accountability, resource sharing, and encouragement will be available for you to join.
Collaborations will happen regularly in Joyous Change Leaders, as members are given the space to discover their heart-centered actions, describe the changes they want to make, and offer their unique gifts to other members. This exponentially expands the impact that each person can achieve alone.
What is Group Coaching Like?
Coaching groups are a collection of outrageously supportive and loving folks who are ready to create a life that lights up their heart.
With the support of Nick, Jamie, and the entire group, you will have the opportunity to observe what might be getting in the way of your authentic and fulfilling contributions to the world. You will receive powerful tools to identify your “impact goldmine” and dance with doubt, fear, and overwhelm in an entirely new way. And you will discover exciting, accessible actions that lead to real changes in your life and the world.
The end result is that you will feel well-resourced, capable, and excited by the ways you can show up in the world.
Make the change that lights up your heart. The world needs it :-)
About The Coaches
Jamie Frank
Jamie is a professionally trained coach and licensed attorney. Jamie has worked with social change movements for the majority of her adult career: supporting economic justice, climate justice, childhood education, community building, racial justice, and personal transformation. She is passionate about helping others to live more joyous and abundant lives. In her coaching practice she supports changemakers to embrace all aspects of themselves while creating a better world for us all. As a business attorney, her mission is to ensure that organizations that can promote a more just society can thrive. She seeks out fellow women of color in particular for both her work as an attorney and as a coach. She does this in recognition of the unique barriers women of color often face as a result of unequal treatment—both in the present and historically.
Nick Shrewsbury
Nick brings all of his traditional and non-traditional skills to facilitation, including his work as a certified coach, court mediator, yoga teacher, and dog-sledding musher. His own experiences in creating positive change come from directing a permaculture farm, mediating in juvenile court systems, working with planning boards and nonprofits to conserve land, and his years doing wolf care and education at Mission:Wolf. He delights in the ways that group work can exponentially expand the impact and abundance of each participant.
